Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools
Artificial intelligence systems may be used as complementary technical support for certain auxiliary tasks in research, drafting, and academic editing. Such use is permitted solely under human oversight, in a transparent and verifiable manner, and without displacing the intellectual responsibility of the authors.
Authors may use artificial intelligence tools exclusively for auxiliary tasks, such as preliminary translation, syntactic review, readability improvement, non-substantive style correction, or support in the formal standardization of citations and references. In all cases, authors remain fully responsible for verifying the accuracy of the text, sources, citations, references, and any information produced with the assistance of such tools.
The use of artificial intelligence tools must be declared in the Authorship Form accompanying the submission. The declaration must specify, where applicable, the name of the tool used, its version if available, the purpose of use, and the specific scope of the assistance received.
Generative artificial intelligence may not be used to create, alter, or simulate empirical data; to generate non-existent sources, citations, or references; to produce substantive content; to formulate theses; to develop legal arguments; to interpret results; or to structure scholarly conclusions. These activities are the exclusive, personal, and non-delegable intellectual responsibility of the authors.
Artificial intelligence tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors under any circumstances, as they do not meet the criteria for academic authorship, public responsibility, accountability, final approval of the manuscript, or the capacity to answer for the integrity of the work.
Non-compliance with AI disclosure requirements (including false, incomplete, or omitted declarations) or the use of AI for prohibited activities may lead to the following measures, which may include requests for clarification or correction, suspension of the editorial process, manuscript rejection, retraction of published articles, or a temporary restriction on future submissions. Such measures are determined by the Editorial Team pursuant to the journal's academic integrity policies.
