Reference List

The section containing bibliographic references in the manuscript must be titled “References.”
Each reference must include the following four key elements:

  • Who: author’s surname(s) and initials.

  • When: date of publication.

  • What: title of the work.

  • Where: source of publication.

References must follow the APA Publication Manual (7th edition) or the APA Style Blog (https://blog.apastyle.org), listed in alphabetical order with a hanging indent.

Authors must ensure that all sources cited in the text appear in the reference list, and that no uncited sources are included. When using citation management tools, authors should carefully verify the accuracy of each entry and convert them into editable text before submission.

Below are examples of commonly used reference formats. For more specific cases, consult the APA Publication Manual (7th ed.).

(Examples are presented in the same order as in Spanish; they are internationally standard APA formats and do not require translation of titles unless otherwise indicated.)
