Duties of Peer Reviewers
External peer reviewers bear an essential academic responsibility inherent to the advancement of legal scholarship. Reviewers who consider themselves unqualified in the relevant field, or who are unable to meet the established deadlines, should decline the invitation promptly.
Evaluations must be conducted with rigorous objectivity and grounded in clear, constructive, and scholarly argument; ad hominem or personal criticism is strictly prohibited. Manuscripts under review are treated as strictly confidential documents. Reviewers may not use any part of a submission for personal advantage, and must notify the Editorial Team promptly of any substantiated suspicion of substantial similarity or plagiarism with other works.
