Abstract
The UCB Law Review presents this issue on legal and constitutional reforms in Bolivia: critical assessments and legal proposals for a new institutional design. This issue brings together research examining some of the key challenges facing the Bolivian legal system. The contributions share a central concern: to understand how legal norms, institutions, and mechanisms for the implementation of the law affect the quality of democracy, the protection of fundamental rights, the functioning of the justice system, and the conditions necessary for Bolivia’s economic and social development.
