Originality and Academic Integrity

Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished work and cannot be under simultaneous review elsewhere. Any exceptions must comply with the journal policies. Research integrity standards and work originality must be formally declared upon submission via the Authorship Form.

Previous academic exposure, such as theses and dissertations, final degree projects, course papers, conference papers, research reports, or other prior academic work must explicitly state so in the Authorship Form. Prior academic work will not prevent submission if the manuscript offers an independent scholarly contribution meeting the journal's quality standards; consequently, texts originally drafted as journal articles, including chapters from article-based dissertations, require no further structural adaptation.

Submissions drawing upon previously disseminated or closely related works require explicit disclosure upon submission. Acceptance hinges on ensuring the text avoids duplicate publication, self-plagiarism, or copyright infringement, while delivering demonstrable new value, whether through updated legal frameworks, fresh case law or literature, expanded data, or a substantially refined analytical framework.

Authors are required to provide appropriate acknowledgment of all foundational sources, prior versions, institutional support, research grants, supervisors, review committees, or conference venues associated with the origin and development of the work.
